Bad - I think that humanity has lost its ability to disappoint me with its behaviour.

Good - the weather's turning; by Sunday three of my sister's kids will have celebrated their birthdays this month (its the twins Isaac and Charlotte on Sunday); I'm coming dangerously close to reaching some sort of equilibrium with my existence (no doubt temporary but welcome nonetheless).

I've also decided to give my mild obssession with memorial monuments full reign for a little while so there'll probably be a fair amount of the results displayed around here somewhere.
